Committee: Programming

Reporting to the VP of Programming, the Web Content Manager is responsible for developing, editing, and managing content for the AMA Tampa Bay Chapter website. Must have professional-level written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, knowledge of AP style, and the ability to adhere to processes and guidelines. This candidate should also have proven skills for graphic or web design, good time-management, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of WordPress and HTML is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages event content on the public website.
  • Ensures that all event content is accurate, well-crafted, engaging, and aligns with brand strategy.
  • Consults with Comms Team and IT Team on development and ongoing maintenance of web pages.
  • Uses SEO skills to create copy that maximizes search rankings, click-throughs, and conversion.

Time: Approximately 4 hours per month
