Session 1: 11-11:45: Diverse Voices in Marketing: A Panel Discussion

The first session will cover diversity in marketing. Join a panel discussion led by Black Stock Footage’s founder, Imani Lee. Imani will draw on his experiences as a videographer, photographer, and entrepreneur who creates impactful and uplifting visual experiences that tell a powerful story. Early on in Imani’s career, he noticed a lack of high-quality stock footage showcasing Black people, experiences, activities, and cultures. Now, Imani has translated his passion for video production into a laser-focused solution for developing Black Stock Footage into the largest supplier of digital content focused on Black representation.

Session 2: 12:15 – 1:00 PM Advice for the New Employee in Marketing

Whether you’re a new marketer in the industry, a new member of a team, or simply want to help out new marketers on your team, this session is for you. Monin Gourmet Flavorings’ Senior Vice President of Marketing, Stasha Johnston, will lean on nearly two decades of marketing experience to share how marketers can make an impact with a mindset shift. New marketers can combine concepts such as curiosity, listening, understanding, and humility to be successful in their careers.
